In this course you will learn basic pronunciation, vocabulary for the classroom, greetings, colors, numbers, days of the week, months of the year. Cognates are presented as as way to quickly learn vocabulary. Grammatical concepts are presented as they relate to speaking and listening. A customized curriculum and lessons that includes Spanish for Texas educators is included.

We use periodic tests and assessments to provide you feedback and keep you motivated.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

You will learn to communicate in Spanish with students, parents and other Spanish speaking persons about discipline, grades, at parent teacher conferences, staar testing, about health related issues, absences, attendance, special needs, extracurricular activities and simple everyday conversations
